Hotel Review: The Standard, Singapore
Singapore is an urban city with lots to do and explore and one of the best part about traveling to Singapore is shopping. Who doesn’t love the shopping rush in Orchard Road which is the largest shopping area in Singapore with lots of brands from high-fashion to everyday street wear. Not only that, Orchard Road is such a convenient location to go everywhere.
Although I’ve been to Singapore many times, yet there are some areas that I didn’t get a chance to explore until this time around. And I’m glad I was able to find the lush side of Singapore and the convenience of the urban city right here at The Standard Hotel, Singapore.
The Standard Hotel is not unfamiliar name to a lot of peopele but it might not as well as Marriott or Hilton. The first time I heard about the Standard Hotel is when it ventured into Thailand back in xxx. The hotel concept is originated from Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California. The first Standard Hotel opened in 1999 and It was developed by Andre Balazs Properties, transforming a former Thunderbird Motel. After that, the Standard International was formed in 2013 when Amar Lalvani acquired The Standard brand.
